Department of Transportation Services
Companies that must comply with DOT requirements for pre-employment physical exams, alcohol and drug testing, Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Assessments, and SAP Treatment Services, can find all of those services available at the Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.

Although DOT regulations specifically indicate all of these services cannot be performed by a single agency, the Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse meets the DOT waiver requirements and is the only Agency in the Tri-County area to offer all of these services.

Employers of DOT-regulated personnel who refer their employees to the Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse for DOT-compliant services will enjoy the convenience, efficiency, and efficacy of dealing with one entity versus the difficulties inherent in trying to coordinate information from multiple points of contact.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse contracts with local business and industry to provide a treatment benefit for their employees and families who may be experiencing problems related to substance use, marital/relationship difficulties, grief, parenting or other particular problems.

The goal is to assist the employee in resolving the issues that are or may create problems with productivity. There is no cost to the employers or immediate family members of contracting companies. If you are unsure if your business contracts with us, you may check with your Human Resources Office or contact us and we can let you know.
